You are welcome to see any of the doctors and appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. Routine appointments can usually be made within 48 hours but not necessarily with the doctor of your choice.
Appointments are 10 minutes long so it may be helpful to bring only one problem to the appointment so that it can be dealt with thoroughly. If you have a complex issue to discuss or a number of problems, a double appointment may be offered by the receptionist.
If you feel you have a problem that must be seen on the same day then we will always fit you in but please be aware these are additional slots following routine surgery and will be short appointments with any available doctor.
If you wish to speak to the doctor by telephone, please ask the receptionist. She may ask the nature of the enquiry and will then ask the doctor to call you back. These calls are usually made at lunchtime.
Priority is always given to urgent cases and occasionally your appointment time may be delayed while a person with an urgent problem is seen by the medical and nursing staff. We would ask for your patience at such times.
If you have booked an appointment and find you no longer need it or have to change that appointment, please inform us so that it can be given to someone else.
