If your doctor agrees you may obtain certain repeat prescriptions for regular medication without an appointment. When requesting a prescription please post or deliver your computerised re-order slip into the surgery with the items you require clearly marked. There is a box at reception where your slip can be left. Your prescription will be ready for collection at the end of the next working day following receipt of your request.
We prefer not to accept prescription requests by telephone due to the increased potential for errors, but if you absolutely cannot manage either of the alternatives we accept telephone requests between 10.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
WE NOW ACCEPT REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS VIA THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE.
For reasons of confidentiality and safety we strongly suggest that you collect your repeat prescription in person. If this is not possible and you have given someone else permission to collect your prescription on your behalf, please be aware that your full list of repeat medications will be attached. This is required for re-ordering purposes, as stated earlier, because we are trying to reduce telephone requests. Also no faxed requests can be accepted due to issues of confidentiality.
If a supply of stamped addressed envelopes are left at the surgery we are more than happy to post your prescription back to you.
The doctor will ask to see you from time to time to review your medication.
